Nuage
LUXURY ROLLING PAPERS & CANNABIS ACCESSORIES
In 2021, hardly any rolling paper brands were made for fashion-forward women. Founder Andrew Nunes wanted to create a brand for just those women. We named it Nuage, French for "cloud," and designed every piece, from a custom logo and a color palette to packaging and a website.

Building a Fashion-Forward Cannabis Accessories Brand
Back in 2021, the rolling paper aisle was built for a very different customer. Founder Andrew Nunes noticed that women, especially fashion-forward women who care how every detail looks, weren't being catered to, right down to what they roll with. He wanted to change that and gave us free rein to build a brand made for them, starting with the name. We helped him choose Nuage, French for "cloud," to capture the soft, airy feeling we wanted the whole brand to have.
Our CEO, Katie Motta, found inspiration for the palette in an unexpected place: the painted ceiling of the New York Public Library's Rose Main Reading Room, where light pinks and blues felt like Nuage come to life. We added a shimmering gold to bring in the luxury and to mirror the gilded gold in the library. The logo uses a custom sans serif that pairs light, flowing strokes with clean, rigid lines, soft and confident at once.
On the packaging, deeper shades of pink and blue with subtle gold details give the rolling papers and cones a bold, modern look, finished with a branded cone band. We carried the brand through a website and collateral, and later designed concept packaging for a CBD skincare line that he could launch under Nuage in the future.

A Cannabis Accessory Brand Made for Her
Nuage never made it to market, but it's still a brand we're proud to show. We helped Andrew create everything he needed to launch: a name, a custom logo, a full color palette, packaging for the rolling papers and cones, a website, collateral, and a plan for expanding into skincare. Every piece was designed to work together, so the brand could go from idea to shelf without starting over.
Nuage was also a little ahead of its time. Women have always been part of cannabis culture, and more brands are finally designing with them in mind. Back in 2021, Nuage was built for that customer with the same care you'd expect from a fashion or beauty label. If you're creating a cannabis brand for women, we'd love to help you make something they're proud to leave out on the table.
