GG's Garden

CANNABIS EDUCATION & WELLNESS BRAND

GG's Garden had outgrown a dark, hard-to-read brand built in Canva. We gave founder Ericka Padilla-Toro, known as The Ganja Goddess, a bright "urban oasis" identity rooted in her Puerto Rican heritage, with a Flor de Maga logomark, botanical patterns, and a palette as vibrant as she is.

Rebranding a Cannabis Education Brand

We met Ericka Padilla-Toro at the Blunt Brunch Women's Lounge at NECANN Boston in 2025. Known in her community as The Ganja Goddess, she'd built GG's Garden into a cannabis education and wellness brand with a loyal following, hosting terpene bars at events and publishing a journal for mindful consumption. Her audience is millennial women who treat cannabis with the same care they give their skincare routines.

The brand hadn't kept up with her. The logo was hard to read, every asset had been built in Canva, and the dark greens, browns, and black didn't meet ADA contrast standards. The moody palette also felt nothing like Ericka, who is bright, upbeat, and endlessly motivating. Our goal was a brand that's readable, scalable, and accessible, with as much personality as its founder.

We landed on an urban oasis, where calm wellness meets bold, youthful city energy. At the center of the logo blooms the Flor de Maga, Puerto Rico's national flower and a tribute to Ericka's heritage, framed by a symmetrical form that echoes butterfly wings, a quiet symbol of transformation. A block-print-inspired wordmark keeps it bold and grounded. The palette brings in magenta, pastel pink, bright and deep greens, light blue, and warm browns, while the patterns borrow from butterfly wings and hibiscus veins with soft gradients and flowing organic shapes. We pulled it all together in a style guide, a signature pattern, and mockups that show the brand in action.

A Brand as Bright as Its Founder

GG's Garden now looks like the woman behind it. The new identity is bright, readable, and accessible, and every asset is built to work professionally, from social posts and event materials to a product shelf down the road.

Right now, Ericka is focused on what she does best: educating and building community. The brand gives her a polished, recognizable presence everywhere she shows up, and when she's ready to launch products, the style guide and pattern system are ready to grow with her. For founders whose personality is the heart of the brand, that's exactly what a great identity should do. If your brand isn't telling your story yet, let's change that.
